英语期中工作检查自查报告

  xx学年第二学期的期中工作检查如约而至,回顾半学期来的工作,从师资队伍的建设到教学质量的监督与提高,从教研室活动的组织及对教师的每月考核,我们都按部就班地、圆满地完成了,当然在各方面都多少存在着不足,所以针对存在的问题,我们做了下一步打算,提出了具体的目标。

  一、半学期以来所完成的工作

  1、师资队伍建设方面

  教研室的工作主要是完善日常的教学工作,其中包括师资队伍的建设。本学期外语教研室虽然聘任教师的人数不多,但80%以上是以科院为第一职业的专职教师,教师队伍相对稳定。本学期是第二学期,没有新生入校,所以教师方面没有什么大的变动。我们保证了原有的专职教师充分发挥作用,保证了教学中的稳定因素,同时也使兼职教师尽职尽责。

  2、教学质量的监督与提高

  为了完善教学工作,提高教学质量,我们从检查授课计划,教案,举行公开课,教研室听课多方面着手来监督和提高教学质量。本学期按学院的规定教研室每周听两次课,并提出相对的指导性的建议。听课过程中我们总结了一些教师的许多值得学习,值得广泛推广的教学方法。当然听课过程也发现了许多问题,大多数问题都已在当堂的课下与教师沟通得到了及时的更正与解决,有的在教研会上大家共同商讨解决。

  3、教研活动

  到目前为止我们已经组织了五次教研活动。每双周的星期一下午3:00-5:00。本学期的教研活动仍以规范日常教学,组织公开课,提高教师的教学水平及质量为主,同时还增加了提高教师个人素质方面的内容,整改报告《外语教研室期中工作检查自查报告》。我们在三月二十日的教研活动上集中学习了人民大学金正坤教授讲解的社交礼仪,目的其一是提高教师个人素质和修养,使教师的行为举止更加规范化;其二是教师在授课过程中能有意无意地把某些内容渗透到教学中。四月三日的教研活动我们学习了两篇文章:教师对学生的`期待效应和教师教风的几点建议,对教师课上、课下与学生沟通,教学中进行素质教育,提高教学质量都有很大的提高。五月十五日的教研活动我们就出题,打印,交盘,批卷等各方面做了具体的安排和强调,并把交题时间定在了6月10日。在期末考试的环节中我想不会出现

什么大问题。到目前为止我们进行了一次公开课:王海鹰老师的商务英语课。这给讲课者提供了锻炼的机会,也给其他教师提供了学习的机会,效果很好。

  4、常规的检查工作

  每月进行一次的教案检查目的是让各位教师课前做好充分的准备,课后做详细的总结。对教案多少有不合规范的教师我们指出其不足,同时把比较好的教案互相传阅,以使年轻的教师更快更好地写好教案。教研室的另一项工作是对教师进行月考评,本着对教学工作,对老师的负责,我们事实求是地给出每位教师的分数。对教师的答疑情况我们进行抽查。本学期在教案检查方面我们加大了力度,为期末进行教案评比做好前期工作。

  5、对毕业生的实习及论文指导工作

  毕业生的实习已于四月末结束,我们四位指导教师已根据学院的要求把学生的实习日记、实习报告、实习鉴定收缴上来。撰写论文也已接近尾声。

  二、存在的问题

  1、教研活动有的老师不能按时参加,以至于不能即使安排工作或得到教学反馈,而使得工作有疏忽、漏洞之处。

  2、我们在本学期初就已将本学期所进行的公开课安排下去,计划期中工作前进行两次,但只进行一次。

  3、没有很好地组织教师集体备课。

  三、下一步的打算

  在一如既往地做好以上所提的各项本职工作以外,更应抓好以下工作:

  1、组织两次公开课。

  2、更好地开展教研活动,使每次教研活动都有目的、有内容。

  3、有目的、有计划地组织教师集体备课。

  4、做好毕业生论文收尾工作及论文答辩工作。

  5、做好期末出题、考试、批卷等工作。

  6、做好期末教案评比工作。
