Last summer, I went on a trip to a famous tourist attraction with my family. It was a scorching hot day, and the place was packed with people. We decided to take a break and have some ice cream to cool down.

As we approached the ice cream stand, I noticed that there was a long queue. Impatiently, I persuaded my family to go to another stand with a shorter line. We quickly got our ice creams and found a spot to sit down.

I was enjoying my ice cream when I suddenly noticed that everyone around me was looking at me strangely. Confused, I looked down and to my horror, I realized that my ice cream had melted all over my hands and was dripping onto my clothes. I was a mess!

Feeling embarrassed, I quickly wiped my hands with tissues, but the damage was already done. My family couldn't help but laugh at me, which made me feel even more humiliated. I wanted to disappear right there and then.

To make matters worse, as I stood up to go clean myself up, I accidentally knocked over my half-finished ice cream, causing it to spill everywhere. The people nearby started complaining, and I could feel their eyes on me as I hurriedly cleaned up the mess. It was a complete disaster!

After that humiliating experience, I learned the importance of patience and not rushing into making decisions. It was a lesson that I will never forget. From that day on, I always think twice before acting impulsively, especially when it comes to choosing the shortest line.
